Ride911 '06 2006 was our second annual Ride 9/11 Flight Crew Memorial motorcycle ride. The first year taught us a lot and gave us a great platform to launch our second ride. We changed the venue this year to the Colorado National Speedway. We felt that the riders would enjoy lining up on the track and minimizing the freeway riding. We got a lot of very positive feedback. Again sponsors, volunteers and the riders were wonderful but mother nature had different plans. On our way up to the ride it was a very unseasonably 42 degrees and foggy. I’m sure this deterred a lot of riders. Thank you to the hard core 100 who did show. What we did accomplish again this year is bringing a group of people together to remember the 33 crew members that were murdered on 9/11/2001. Thank you!
